The annual concert of the Pro
Mozart Society of Greater Detroit
will be held at the Fries Au-
ditorium of the Grosse Pointe
War Memorial, 32 Lakeshore
Rd. Grosse Pointe Farms, on
Sunda
y at 3 p.m.
This year's concert will be cen-
tered around the theme of
"Mozart and the Freemasons."
Marguerite Kozenn Chajes, the
founder and artistic director, will
speak about the influence of
Freemasonry on Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart's life and work.
Participating artists are music
director and pianist, Lawrence
LaGore; pianist, Catherine Rol-
lin; singers, Earnestine Nim-
mons, Claritha Buggs, bass-
baritone Assen Vassilev and
leading instrumentalists from
Michigan.
The Pro Mozart Society of
Greater Detroit received a grant
from the Michigan Council for
the Arts and assistance from the
Consulate General of the Repub-
lic of Germany in Detroit.
