The adult study commission of
Adat Shalom Synagogue an-
nounces that David Bar-Ilan, Is-
raeli concert pianist, will be the
guest performer on Thursday at 8
p.m. at the synagogue. The an-
nual spring concert is sponsored
by the Morris E. Bloomberg
Judaica-Jack Rosenbloom Memo-
rial Funds.
Bar-Illan has appeared many
times throughout the country. He
is a personal friend of Avital
Shcharansky and is identified
with the struggle for Jewish
rights. He has devoted much time
and energy to the issue of sen-
sitizing the world to the plight of
Soviet Jews.
Sandra and Jonathan Jaffa are
co-chairmen of the commission
and Sharon Hart is chairman of
the concert.
There is no charge. Tickets are
available at the Adat Shalom
Synagogue office, 851-5100.

Synagogue Post
Walter Cykiert was re-elected
president of Cong. Beth Abraham
Hillel Moses at its annual mem-
bership meeting.
The following executive com-
mittee was elected, with him:

Forum Planned
The Birmingham Temple, in
conjunction with the Metropoli-
tan Detroit Chapter of the Voice
of Reason, will present a social
action forum at 8:30 p.m. Monday
at the temple.
Rabbi Sherwin Wine and other
speakers will discuss the theme,
"Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell
— The New Strategy of the Radi-
cal Right."
