Israeli Animals

Linda Gale's second grade class
Hillel Day School will hold a
`sake sale today at the school to
benefit Concern for Helping
^,nimals in Israel (CHAI) in cele-
bration of Be Kind To Animals
Week.
Parents will join the children
at the school to bake the items to
insure that they are kosher, Mrs.
Gale said. The children also will
raise money by doing chores.
CHAI is an American-based
group which raises money to help
' animals in Israel. Funds are used
to build animal shelters, buy
\medical supplies, supervise the
use of work animals, find homes
'tor homeless animals, spay and
\ neuter adopted pets and to edu-

and protection of animals.
