The founda- tion is increasingly working with libraries and Jewish museums, sponsoring traveling exhibits. A current exhibit on the Jews of China is on a three-year tour of the U.S. In the last few years, the foundation has supported Jewish communal theater productions throughout the country, playw- riting awards and travel grants, Yiddish theater translations, and symposiums and workshops that include a Yiddish cultural festi- val at the University of Michi- gan. Zeltzer believes the foundation must continue to "unlock the riches of our past" by conserving and recording Jewish memories, continue to fund scholarship, and expand its support of creativity in theatre, dance and the visual arts.
