Linden, all members of the board of the Union of American Hebrew Con- gregations, are co-chairmen of a dinner on behalf of the Fund for Reform Judaism. The dinner, to' be held May 28 at Temple Israel, will honor six local leaders of the Reform movement, who will receive Re- form Judaism's Lamed Vav Award for outstanding leader- ship. Planned• under the auspices of the Metropolitan Detroit Federa- tion of Reform Synagogues, funds raised will be used specifically for development of new programm- ing in social action, curriculum development in religious schools, leadership training, enhancing worship and expanding Reform Jewish outreach. Honorees at the -dinner are Steven Fish of Temple Beth Jacob; Dr. Irving Friedman of Temple Kol Ami; Aaron Kahn of Temple Emanu-El; Mamie and Jason Tickton of Temple Beth El; and Harold S. Tobias of Temple Israel. Lydia Kukoff, national director of the Reform movement's Com- mission on Outreach, will be in town prior to the dinner to ad- dress two parlor meetings on May 12 and 13. The goal of the campaign is - $100,000, of which $25,000 is to be retained for local efforts re- lated to FRJ projeds.
