The Central East Region of the
National Conference of Syna-
gogue Youth will hold its second
annual find-raising breakfast on
June 8 at 9 a.m. at Young Israel
of Greenfield.
NCSY is the youth arm of the
Union of Orthodox Jewish Con-
gregations. In Detroit, there are
chapters at the three Young Is-
rael branches and at Cong. B'nai
David.' They offer social events,
Torah study programs, a Yachad
program for the developmentally
disabled and holiday workshops.
Under the direction of Rabbi
Mark Cohn, Central East NCSY
runs weekend retreats for high
school students allowing them
the opportunity to experience a
traditional Sabbath.

nual triathlon on May 4. Partici-
