Martin Krohner
Martin Krohner, who has
served as a prosecuting attorney
for 13 years, announced his can-
didacy for judge of Oakland
County Circuit Court.
In addition to serving as a
prosecuting attorney, Krohner
has served as staff attorney for
Michigan Consolidated Gas Co.,
family law attorney for Oakland
County Legal Aid Society, and
as a court clerk to Probate
Judge Eugene Arthur Moore in
Oakland County.
Krohner is a member of the
State Bar of Michigan, the Na-
tional District Attorneys Asso-
ciation, Oakland County Bar
Association, the American Judi-
cature Society and Phi Alpha
Delta Legal Fraternity. Some of
his affiliations include the Crim-
inal Law Section of the State
Bar of Michigan, juvenile prob-
lems committee of the Oakland
County Bar Association, and the
spouse abuse committee of the
Family Law Section of the State
Bar of Michigan.
In addition to serving as a
prosecuting attorney, he is the
legal adviser to M.A.D.D.
(Mothers Against Drunk Driv-
ing) in the state of Michigan. He
is co-founder of M.A.D.D. in
Michigan, as well as founder
and former president of its Oak-
land County chapter. .
Krohner received his B.A. de-
gree from Michigan State Uni-
versity and his juris doctor de-
gree from the University of De-
troit School of Law.
