B'nei Akiva - Galil Detroit
will hold its first mini "Veida"
(conference) weekend this
weekend at the Young Israel of
Greenfield and the Young Israel
of Oak-Woods.
On Saturday, at 9 p.m., the
ninth-12th graders will meet at
the Young Israel of Greenfield
to discuss the future planning of
the national organization. At
the same time a delegate will be
chosen to represent Detroit in
the national Vieda session to be
held this summer in Indian Or-
chard, Pa. Jay Wolff and Wendy
Boniuk will lead the meeting.
The first B'nei akiva minyan
at the Young .Israel of Oak-
Woods will be held at 9:15 a.m.
Saturday followed by a kiddush.
All students are welcome.
B'nei Akiva will hold its
weekly meeting at 5 p.m. on
Saturday. The group will meet
at Young Israel of Greenfield.
Students in the fifth - eighth
grades may attend. The B'nei
Akivah Mishna class is
scheduled to follow at 6 p.m.

B'nai David's National Con-
ference of Synagogue Youth
Chapter announces a Pesach
workshop will take place at the
synagogue on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
in the youth lounge.
The workshop will include
laws and information about
Pesach. The workshop is open to
teenagers in the eighth through
12th grades.
On April 27, Chop Hamoed
Pesach, the B'nai David NCSY
will challenge the Young Israel
Teens to a softball game, to take
place at Yeshivat Akiva softball
field at 12:30 p.m.
