losium on the Holocaust has
∎ een scheduled to take place
May 14, at the Holocaust
Memorial Center wand main
Jewish Community Center.
Co-sponsors of the event are
the Jewish Community Council
Ind the Greater Detroit Round
Fable-National Conference of
Christians and Jews.
Zelda Robinson, chairman of
the Council's Holocaust Sub-
committee, sits on an interfaith
committee, • which plans the
event.
The symposium provides high
school students from the entire
metropolitan area the opportu-
nity to meet, learn about and
discuss the Holocaust and its
implications; as well as to meet
with survivors. :
Dr. John Mames of Council's
Holocaust ,Subcommittee will
assist in coordination of the
symposium and enlist the par-
ticipation of survivors.
