Yeshivah Opens New Campaign The Friends of the Yeshiva Gedolah have begun a campaign to dedicate. • the dining room of the Yeshiva Gedolah of Greater Detroit. The committee, consist- ing of Hyman Beale, Harry Blitz, Milton Duchan and Sam Novetsky, raised close to $8,000 towards the goal of $25,000 to decorate and refurbish the din- ing room. On March 23, the group met at Young Israel of Greenfield. Participants included Emanuel Mittelman, Rabbi Leib. Bakit and Harry Blitz: A slide pre- sentation on the history and growth of the yeshivah was pre- sented.
