the Jewish Community Center.
Edward Rosenthal, executive di-
rector of the Jewish National
Fund in Detroit, will speak on
what's happening in Israel to-
day. All are invited free of

B'nai B'rith Plans
Sunday Forum

Carol A. Otto, an expert on
using the telephone as a motiva-
tional tool, will be featured
speaker at the B'nai B'rith
Forum sponsored by the organ-
ization's Metropolitan Detroit
Council at 8:45 a.m. Sunday at
the Zionist Cultural Center, it
was announced by Ernest Shaw.
The forum is a leadership
seminar for the men's division of
B'nai B'rith.
Breakfast will be served and
admission is free to members.
All current and future B'nai
B'rith leaders are invited. Sol
Lefton is Council programming
vice president.
Discussions will take place on
the scope of B'nai ' B'rith, re-
cruitment and retention, pro-
gramming, and fund raising,
Shaw emphasized; and led by
experts in.these fields.

and can be made by calling the

Yeshivah Opens
New Campaign

The Friends of the Yeshiva
Gedolah have begun a campaign
to dedicate. • the dining room of
the Yeshiva Gedolah of Greater
Detroit. The committee, consist-
ing of Hyman Beale, Harry
Blitz, Milton Duchan and Sam
Novetsky, raised close to $8,000
towards the goal of $25,000 to
decorate and refurbish the din-
ing room.
On March 23, the group met
at Young Israel of Greenfield.
Participants included Emanuel
Mittelman, Rabbi Leib. Bakit
and Harry Blitz: A slide pre-
sentation on the history and
growth of the yeshivah was pre-
sented.
