Schwarzberg
Ordination Sunday
Rabbi Ronald Schwarzberg,
son of Simon Schwarzberg of
Southfield And the late Evelyn
Schwarzberg, will be among the
100 rabbis honored Sunday at
the Chag Ha Semikhah (cele-
bration of ordination) cere-
monies at the Rabbi Isaac El-
chanan Theological Seminary of
Yeshiva University in New
York.
Rabbi SchWarzberg is a
graduate of Akiva Hebrew Day
School, Yeshiva Keren B. Yavna
in Israel and Yeshiva Univer-
sity. He is presently, serving as
assistant rabbi of Hebrew Insti-
tute of Riverdale, N.Y.
Other rabbis being honored at
the special ceremonies marking
the seminary's 100th anniver-
sary are Rabbi Ely .Rosenzveig
of Southfield and Rabbi Lawr-
ence Zierler of Sarnia, Ont.

its work-study program for
interns in library technical as-
sistance.
This program, which is given
at the Orchard Ridge Campus
includes introduction to com-
puter information processing, as
well as a general introduction to
the technical aspecti3 of library
work. Courses are primarily
given on Friday afternoons.

Ronald Riback is chairman of
this year's patron campaign.
Riback serves on the Hillel
board of directors. Active in the
Jewish Welfare Federation,
Riback serves on the National
Young Leadership Cabinet, Cul-
ture and Education Division, is
vice chairman Attorney's Sec-
tion, on the Midrasha College of
Jewish Studies board of direc-
tors and was co-chairman of
Hadracha VII. He also worked
with Detroit Chamber of Com-
merce. Leadership V Program.
The patron campaign at Hillel
is run in conjunction with the
dinner dance, slated for May 13
at Adat Shalom synagogue.
Amy Cutler is the chairman.
