Shaarey Zedek. April 16. Festi- val chairman Phyllis Friedman said admission is free for the April 16 and April 27 events. The 'programs start at 8 p.m. Moyshe Oysher, legendary singer of the Yiddish theater and film, plays a. tough, illiter- ate Singing Blacksmith who mellows when he falls in love. This 1938 romantic melodrama is filled with regulars of the Yiddish stage — matchmakers, peasants, a flirt and a pious husband. There is a cameo role by young Hershel Bernardi, who later became a popular star in Yiddish productions. The Cowboy, a short Yiddish farce, is also on April 16 pro-
