Lecture Series
For Diabetics

A series of six diabetes classes
will be held on Wednesday eve-
nings at 7:30 p.m. in the au-
ditorium of the Novi Middle
South, 25299 Taft, Novi. These
classes are scheduled to begin
on April 10, and are for adult
diabetics and their family mem-
bers.
There will be no charge. How-
ever, pre-registration is required
as enrollment is limited.

attorney Ralph R. Goldsmith at
7 p.m. April 15 at Temple Beth
El. Cocktails will be served at 6

be Attorney General Frank J.

Goldsmith "for his accom-
plishments during the last 55
years."
Goldsmith attended Detroit
College of Law, was graduated
from Wayne State University
Law School and was admitted to
the State Bar of Michigan in
1929.
He practiced law with the late
Mr. Harry Rosen for many years
in the firm of Goldsmith and
Rosen.
He was appointed a Wayne
County Public Administrator in
1949 by then Gov. G. Mennen
Williams and Stephen J. Roth,
attorney general. He is still an
active county public adminis-
trator and also a special assis-
tant attorney general.
He is a former president of
the Downtown Synagogue.
Goldsmith was very active in
the labor movement and served
as former counsel for the UAW.
He remains an active member of
the Democratic Party.
He is presently chairman of
an Attorney Grievance Commit-
tee Panel, and is a former Most
Worshipful Master of the Mosaic
Lodge, Masonic Temple.
