Mr. and Mrs. Irving B. Morof
of Southfield announce the
engagement of their daughter,
Sandra Elise, to Steven Mark
Katzman, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Arnold Katzman of Oak Park.
Sandy is employed at Rubens-
tein, Isaacs, Lax and Bordman,
a Southfield law firm, where she

is an administrative assistant
and a word processor.
This April, Steven will earn
his B.A. degree in biology at
Wayne State University.
After a July wedding, the
couple will reside in Des
Moines, Iowa, where Steven will
attend medical school.

Senior Volunteers Cited

A total of 53 individuals age
60 and up were honored for
their volunteer services at the
seventh annual Senior Service
Corps recognition tea. The
Senior Service Corps is a project
of the Jewish Vocational Serv-
ice.
The seniors provide volunteer
services to the American Heart
Association, Grace Hospital,
Hillel Day School, Jewish Com-
munity Center, Jewish Informa-
tion Service, Mt. Carmel Hospi-
tal, National Council of Jewish
Women, Oak Park Schools,
Sinai Hospital, Hillel Founda-
tion at Wayne State University
and the Zionist Organization of
America-Detroit District.
Gail Stewart, counseling
supervisor, presented the
awards to the honorees. Barbara
Nurenberg, associate executive
director' of the JVS, commended
the volunteers.
