To Fight Saudi Sale

A month ago, the American-
Israel Public Affairs Committee
came out against the Reagan Ad-
ministration's proposed $354 million
arms sale to Saudi Arabia, asserting
that such a sale would reward the
Saudis for their continued opposition
to peace, place in their already-full
arsenal another 2,600 Stinger mis-
siles "ideally suited for terrorists,"
and generally endanger, Israeli secu-
rity.
AIPAC, the official Israel lobby
in this country, mobilized its forces
and helped stir up opposition in the
Senate and the House of Representa-
