dress by designer Tony Chase
has a jacquard, gathered bodice
with a narrow skirt, slit on side
and an asymmetrical hem. The
dress also has a fabric,
rhinestone flower on the
shoulder.

SKIRTS: Skirts are fashionable
for spring, and there are many
different styles. The narrow
skirts with slits in the back,
side, or front are worn shorter,
while the full, graceful skirts
are longer. Wrapped or sarong

has an entire line of collarless
jackets.

gabardine, cut full and inspired
by men's fashions. For summer,
cropped pants are perfect
and cool.
Tops are narrower and tighter
for spring/summer '86. Knits are
great looking and cutaway,
revealing arms, backs, shoulders
and midriffs. Sweaters are either
in subdued pastels or bold prints.
Trish Henning has an elegant line
of Israeli sweaters. One coral
sweater had an appliqued flower
with dainty beads.
Sweater sets are very
fashionable. Tank tops or
sleeveless turtlenecks and
