a vitamin-rich vegetable cream
and rub it over the entire body to
remove the dead skin. Next a hot
body mask called a Theobroma
Mask' is applied over the entire
body. This mask consists of
cocoa butter, elastin, honey, with
no preservatives or fragrance.
After 20 minutes, it is removed
and is followed by a one-hour
body massage."
Wagner offers these
suggestions to follow for an
at-home facial:
• Use granules to erase dead
skin and to clean pores.
• Rinse thoroughly with water.
• Use a conditioning mask to
close the pores and to condition
skin.
• Complete facial as you
would with your daily skin
regimen. Wash with soap, use
toner, elastin cream and
moisturizer.
At night, she suggests using a
night cream in place of the
moisturizer. Eye cream should
also be used around the eyes.
"Use inward, circular strokes
around the eyes so you don't ruin
the delicate skin. You will find that
this can take years off of your
face."
An additional tip from Wagner
for at-home care is to give oneself
an all-over body scrub with loofa
sponge. This will remove the
dead skin. After shower or bath,
use a moisture body cream.

A CLOSE SHAVE: More and
more salons are focusing on
men's skin care needs as well.
Tamara Friedman, founder of the
Tamara Institute de Beaute' in
Farmington Hills, has this to say.
"It is relatively easy to make that
ten-minute daily shave a pleasant
respite in a gentleman's busy
morning just by using the proper
shaving preparations. Many men
are careless about shaving. It is
important to treat the skin and
beard before and during shaving
to minimize irritation and after
shaving to apply solutions which
smooth, asepticize, tone,
moisturize and heal."
