tains. There he married Irina, a
woman he had know since they
were youngsters together in Kiev.
Irina had a daughter, Julia, from
a previous marriage. This compli-
cated their efforts to emigrate be-
cause Irina's first husband stated
that he would never permit his
daughter to leave the Soviet
Union.
Dr. Gluzman is now once again
in Kiev, employed as a physician.
He and Irina continue their
struggle to emigrate to Igrael.
