Dr. and Mrs. Neil Blavin

Blavin Dulberg

Lynn Dulberg and Dr. Neil
Blavin were married recently at
Cong. Beth Achim. Rabbi Milton
Arm officiated.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and
Mrs. Shel Dulberg of Southfield.

The bridegroom is the son of the
late Dr. and Mrs. Milton Blavin.

Following a honeymoon in
Antique, the couple will reside in
Ann Arbor.

Seniors Study Russia

The senior adult department at
the Jewish Community Center's
Jimmy Prentis Morris Branch
will continue its Russian Connec-
tion theme at its next meeting at 1
p.m. Tuesday in the JPM assem-
bly hall.
Stanley Clamage will speak on
"Jewish Spiritual Heroes." The

films, The Return and The Price of
Silence will be shown at 2 p.m.
Purim will be celebrated at 1:45
p.m. Wednesday in Jaffe Hall of
the JPM Branch. Akiva teacher
Phyllis Koenigsburg and 25 stu-
dents will sing Purim songs and
distribute shalach manot to the
Wednesday Afternoon Social
Group, directed by Mr. and Mrs.
Bernard Luchtan. The group will
serve refreshments and entertain.
The library program will meet
at 1 p.m. Thursday in room 4 of
the JPM Branch. Celia Goodman
will conduct a short story class.
A trip to the Hilberry Theater is
planned for Thursday, leaving at
5:45- p.m. from the JPM Branch.
The group will see The Misan-
thrope. There is a fee. Reserva-
tions are required by Tuesday.

Singer at the JPM, 967-4030.
The senior adults will have a
press review at 10:15 a.m. March
28 at the Jaffe Hall of the JPM
Branch. Rabbi Norman Roman of
Temple Beth El will lead the cur-
rent events discussion group.
The Erev Shabbos program will
take place at 12:30 p.m. March 28
in Jaffe Hall of the JPM Branch.
Sam Barnett and Mayme Lawson
will sing and play Russian Jewish
songs. At 1:15 p.m. Dr. Louba Be-
rton will speak on "The Lifestyles
of Detroit's Russian Jewish
Emigres."

Leisure Time
Topic For Seniors

The senior adult department at
the Main Jewish Community
Center will present Evelyn Kasle
on Monday at 1:30 p.m. in room
239. Mrs. Kasle will speak on .
"Constructive Use of Leisure
Time."
Mrs. Kasle received her degree
in gerontology from the Univer-
sity of Michigan and has taught at
Wayne State University. She has
spoken before many groups and
has conducted seminars cm pre-
retirenint and retirement for the
tri-county mental health clinics.
Presently she is working on a
feasibility study for an outpatient
lodge at Harper Grace Hospital.
There is no charge and all are wel-
come.

This program is supported by a
grant from the Area Agency on
Aging, 1-B.
The department will offer a
bridge class beginning Thursday
at 1:30 in room 239. Instructor
Bonnie Ward is a life master who
placed second overall at the
Canadian Nationals and first
overall in the MOtor City Regional
Women's Pairs. In addition, she
has won numerous local club
championships since 1975. There
is a fee.
