Anne Weinstein, president of the auxiliary, an- nounces that first nomination of officers will be held. - Association Names Jewish Veterans Former Jewish War Veterans Michigan department Comman- ders Jack Berman and Jack Schwartz were elected president and vice president, respectively, of the Joint Memorial Day Asso- ciation. The association obtains Ameri- can flags from the city of Detroit for decorating all veterans graves in the Detroit area. Berman and Schwartz are the first JWV members elected to serve as officers of the organiza- tion. The association is comprised of all major veterans organiza- tions in the state.
