Doug Ross, director of the Michi-
gan Department of Commerce, at
a wine and cheese reception spon-
sored by the America-Israel
Chamber of Commerce & Indus-
try, Inc./Metro Detroit on March
26 at 8 p.m. at the Michigan Inn in
Southfield.
Ross will highlight how that
"Yes" is being translated into
meaningful business for Michi-
gan companies and will provide
an update on the upcoming
Michigan Business Mission to Is-
rael.
The program is open to the
Michigan business public„but ad-
vanced reservations are required.

Common Ground announces
"Our New Family," an educa-
tional program for elementary
school children and their par-
ents who have been involved in
separation or divorce. Each par-
ticipating family must consist of
one second or third grader from
the Birmingham or Oak Park
school district and one parent or
custodial adult.
The program will run for
eight Mondays in Oak Park, be-
ginning this Monday. It will be
held on Tuesdays in the Bir-
mingham district, •beginning .
this Tuesday. The program will
not be held March 31, April 1,
April 28 or April 29.
Sessions will start at 5:45
p.m. at Key Elementary in Oak
Park and Pembroke Elementary
in Birmingham. There is a
charge. For information, call
