Heaven Can Wait

A photo exhibit entitled,
"Ethiopia to Zion: Journey of the
Beta Yisrael," is being brought to
the Detroit area by the Jewish
Community Council. •
From March 27 through April
10, nearly 40 photos and a series
of plaques showing the history of
the Beta Yisrael (Ethiopian Jews)
will be housed at Hartford Memo-
rial Baptist Church, 18700 James
Couzens Highway, Detroit.
The display moves to United
Hebrew Schools, 21550 W. 12
Mile, Southfield, on April 13,
where it will remain until April
23.
