vance of the synagogue's annual
Youth Shabbat at 8:45 a.m.

spiritual leader of Beth Ab-
raham Hillel Moses, will wel-
come guests and participants at
the luncheon. For luncheon
reservations, contact the Beth
Abraham - Hillel Moses Religious
School office, 851-6880. There is
a nominal charge for the lunch-

Inspections

The Merkaz, the Laymiin's'
Association of the Council of Or-
thodox Rabbis, will conduct a
mezuzah-checking campaign to
insure the kashut of all mezuzot
in the community. • •
Mezuzot can become invalid
through cracking or fading and
every 31/2 years.

Soferim (scribes) will inspect the
mezuzot, and if they are found
to be unfit, they will make an

10 p.m. at Young Israel of
Greenfield.
