Journalist Iirael Amitai will
share his insights on the Middle
East when he joins the Israeli
Section of the Allied Jewish
Campaign at a meeting, 8 p.m.
March 22, at 5000 Town Center.
Amitai, an Israeli television
producer, director and writer of
television and radio public af-
fairs programs, is former editor
of the daily newspaper Davar.
A native-born Israeli, Amitai
fought in Israel's War of Inde-
pendence, achieving the rank of
captain 'in Israel's army.
Amitai has traveled exten-
sively and studied Jewish com-
munal life in many countries.
He has vast experience as a
public speaker in Israel and in
Jewish communities throughout
the world..

`Clogging' Focus
Oil Beth Elders
The Beth Elders of Temple
Beth El will host a program by
the Main Street' Cloggers at
noon March 18 in the temple.
The program will focus on
American clogging, Appalachian
style. The dancers were taught
by Paula Trask.
