LES CONNECTION group will
sponsor a "Let's Fool Around"
Dance on April 1 at the temple,
5725 Walnut Lake Rd., West
Bloomfield. The dance will start
at 7:30 p.m. and the cover
charge includes wine and light
hors d'oeuvres. This event is for
Jewish singles ages 30 to 50;
and non-members are welcome.

B'NAI B'RITH MICHIGAN
SINGLES will hear Esther
Tarnoff Cooper of the Detroit
Institute of Arts speakers
bureau at 8 p.m. March 23 at
the B'nai B'rith building. She
will speak on "Jewish Ritual
Art." Light refreshments will be
served. There is a charge.
The group will have an eve-
ning of coffee and conversation
at 8 p.m. Monday in the home of

ZL PRODUCTIONS will have
its premier party at 8 p.m.

the Detroit Institute of Arts and

Jewish Community Center on
"Reflexology: Acupressure on

Players at 8 p.m. March 15.

analyst and consultant specializ-
ing in Soviet and Middle East
affairs, will discuss "Israel,
U.S.-Israel Relations and the
Political Outlook in the Middle
East," at a public forum Monday
at 7:30 p.m. at the Main Jewish
Community Center.
The .forum is part of the lec-
ture series sponsored by Metro
Detroit District — Zionist
Organization of America, the
Labor Zionist Institute and the
Jewish Center.
A former aide to Richard
Nixon and the late Sen. Frank
Church, Rothman is president of
the San Francisco District ZOA
and a trustee of the American.
Zionist Youth Foundation.
In 1982, he was a delegate to
the 30th World Zionist Congress
in Jerusalem.
A graduate of Whittier, Col-
lege, Rothmann took graduate
courses at the Hebrew Univer-
sity and did research work in
the Soviet Union and Eastern
Europe. In 1973, he received the
"Outstanding Young Men of
America" award and is listed in

Who's Who in California.

He is the co-author of Flowers

of Evil: Varieties of .Anti-
Zionism, The Challenge of
Jewish Identity and Jewish
Education - A New Direction.".

The forum is open to the com-
munity.
