Campaign Women
Conduct Telethon

More than 700 Detroit area
women will be called upon this
Sunday to make their first
pledge to the Allied Jewish
Campaign.
Building on the success of last
month's Super Sunday and
follow-up telethons, the Jewish
Welfare Federation Women's
Division will hold its 1986 New
Gifts telethon.
All new givers will be invited
to a dessert and coffee reception,
March 26. Women's Division
President Marlene Borman and
Campaign Chairman Sharon
Hart will welcome newcomers to
the Allied Jewish Campaign
family and explain how the
Campaign helps provide impor-
tant services to Jews
everywhere.
Participants will also be in-
vited to the annual Women's
Division Spring Forum, April
10. Entitled "The Magic Touch,"
author Danny Siegel will ex-
plain how tzedaka brings magic
to the quality of Jewish life.
More than 10,000 women in
the community currently give to
the Allied Jewish Campaign.
Sally Krugel is Women's Di-
vision new gifts chairman. Her
associate chairman is Leslie
Freidman. Doreen Hermelin is
associate Campaign chairman.
