Rachlevsky was a member of
the Moscow Chamber Orchestra.
He left Moscow in 1973 and
after working with orchestras in
Israel, South Africa, Mexico and
Canada, he arrived in Detroit in
1976. A former violinist with
the Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra, he is the founder of Re-
naissance City Chamber
Players, one of only two full-
time chamber ensembles in the
U.S.
Rachlevsky will feature
Jewish composers and composi-
tions in his concert. Tickets can
