The cultural commission of
Cong. B'nai David will present a
lecture series entitled: "Global
Jewish Trouble Spots" on four
consecutive Sunday mornings
beginning March 16 in the
Julius Rotenberg Hall of the
syngagogue.
The series will focus on politi-
cal, social and religious crises in
the Israeli, Argentine and South
African Jewish communities to-
day.

"Radicalism and Extremism in
Israeli Society" on April 6.
A free continental breakfast
will be served each week at
10:15' a.m. followed by the lec-
ture at 11 a.m. A question and
answer period will follow, and
the community is invited free of
charge.
The cultural forum is spon-

The Aleynu Jewish Education
Network is opening its doors to
the Metro Detroit area.
Directed by Rabbi Alon Tol-
win, the network sponsors
classes in such topics as per-
sonal development, history, He-
brew and God. Classes meet in
private homes and change every
ten weeks.
The network is geared to
people with varied educational
backgrounds and synagogue af-
filiations. -
Aleynu is affiliated with the
Jerusalem fellowships summer-
in-Israel program for college
graduates.
