To Visit Detroit
New York — Chaim Aron, head
of the Department of I mmigration
and Absorption of the Jewish
Agency and World Zioniit Organ-
ization will visit Detroit on Mon-
day during Jewish Agency Week.
Jerold C. Hoffberger, chairman of
the Board of Governors of the
Jewish Agency for Israel. He will
hold private meetings with
Jewish Welfare Federation lead-
ership.
Citing "this unique opportunity
to bring Jewish Agency and Dias-
pora leadership closer together,"
Hoffberger stated that Aron's
presence in Detroit, "will enhance
the partnership between Jewish
Agency officials and the local
community." Aron's visit follows
this week's New York meeting of
the Jewish Agency's Board of
Governors.
