ALBERT HERMAN, 80, of Oak Park, died Feb. 8 in California. Survived by his wife, Mina; a daughter, Sharon; and one grand- son. Sheldon Wachler Sheldon Wachler, an attorney with offices in Southfield, died Feb. 10 at age 52. Born in Detroit, Mr. Wachler was an attorney for 28 years. He was graduated from the Detroit College of Law. Mr. Wachler de- signed and implemented the Handicappers Civil Rights Act as legal counsel for the Paralyzed Veterans Administra- tion. He organized the PVA lawsuit which led to SEMTA in- stalling lifts for handicappers on all the system's buses. He was a member of the PVA and the Michigan Bar Associa- tion. He leaves a - son, Ronald; two daughters, Susan Bonnough of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Julie of Irving, Tex:. his mother, Mrs. Margaret Wachler of Florida; and a brother, Norman.
