Saul and Bessie Rott of South- field renewed their wedding vows recently at Cong. B'nai David in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married Jan. 5, 1936, at the former Pingree and Woodrow Wilson Syna- gogue. Officiating at the couple's B'nai David ceremony last month were Rev. Hershel Roth and their grandson, Dr. Jeffrey Klein. Cantor Hyman Adler and his accompanist entertained the guests. Rabbi Moshe Polter spoke and exhibited the six-inch Sefer Torah the Rotts donated to Cong. Mishkan Israel Nusach H'Ari. On hand to celebrate with the couple were their children: John and Marilyn Klein, Joel and Sherrie Rott, of LaJolla, Calif.; Rena Leibovitz, Sharon and Dr. Allen Preger of Los Angeles and Zaneta Docks; grandchildren: Leslie and Stewart Light; Shelly and Jeffrey Klein; Allison, Brian and Lauren Rott; Jay and Scott Leibovitz; Adams and Megan Docks; and great-grand- children: Sean and Corey Light. The senior Rotts exchanged rings as they were joined by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren under the chuppah. The Rotts are members of Keidan Lodge and Chapter of B'nai B'rith, and Mrs. Rott is past president of the chapter. They also are members of Cong. B'nai Israel-Beth Yehudah, Young Israel of Oak-Woods and Cong. Mishkan Israel Nusach H'Ari. Shannon —Recording artist of the hits "Let t6 Music Play," "Give Me Ti;night" and "My Heart's Divided."
