The snow and cold of February is pushed
into the background as these Jewish
Community Center enthusiasts get into shape
for spring.
When Michigan's winter weather drives
most Detroiters indoors for exercise, many
take advantage of the Jewish Community
Center's facilities in West Bloomfield to keep
their muscles ready for the active outdoor life
that beckons just around the calendar.
Swimming, jogging, all types of racquet
sports, organized games and individual
pursuits are used to keep the body toned.
Special exercise equipment can be used to
keep those extra inches where they belong,
and a dip in the pool or whirlpool adds that
pecial blend of exercise and relation to fitness
at-the" Center.
