Bais Chabad Torah Center of
West Bloomfield will begin its
C.H.A.I. Lecture series, a
monthly seminar devoted to
topics of current Jewish interest,
on Feb. 16 at 8:30 p.m. in the
home of Susan and Larry Gor-
mezano, 6280 Tamerlane, West
Bloomfield, 851-1807.
Rabbi Elimelech Silberberg
will speak on "Divorce Jewish
Style," which will include a
thorough analysis of contempor-
ary Halachic viewpoints on di-
vorce, alimony and custody
rights. Future topics include
business ethics in a complex
society, medicine and Halachah,
conversion and who is a Jew,
abortion and family planning.
The seminars are free and
open to the public. Refreshments
will be served after each lecture.
