B'nai Moshe will present "An Enchanted Evening with the Michigan. Opera Theater" at 8 p.m. Feb. 12 in the synagogue. Music by Leonard Bernstein, George Gershwin, Mozart, Puc- cini and Verdi will be played. Featured performers will be M.O.T. veterans, Frances Broc- kington and Mark Vondrak, with piano accompanist Bev Labuta. Ms. Brockington has per- formed leading roles in La Boheme, Cosi Fan Tutte and La Traviata, and has entertained elementary students with Intro- duction to Opera programs. She is on the music faculties of Wayne State University and Sacred Heart Seminary. Vondrak has appeared in M.O.T.'s productions of The Marriage of Figaro, Faust, La Trauiata and The Tender Land and has appeared in many one- act productions and musical re- vues for children and adults. He has appeared with the Kenneth Jewell Chorale and has per- formed at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Brahams and Schubert festivals. Ms. Labuta is the musical di- rector and staff accompanist for the M.O.T. and performs with the Michigan Lyric Opera and Meadow Brook Festival Chorus. 'Bible Myths' Topic Of Series Rabbi Sherwin Wine will pre- sent the first of four talks on the theme, "The Mythology of the Bible," at 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Birmingham Temple.
