Education Meeting

The Greater Detroit Chapter
of Hadassah will have an educa-
tion meeting at 10 a.m. Wed-
nesday at Hadassah House,
5030 Orchard Lake Rd., West
Bloomfield. A mini vbrunch will
be served at 9:30 a.m.
Dr. Sheila Lampert, past
president of the Detroit Zionist
Federation, will be the guest
speaker. She will discuss "The
Missing Pieces to the Middle
East Puzzle."
Admission is free. Babysitting
will be available free of charge.

Detroiters Baila Leah Dzodin
and Chaya Soroh Silberberg will
take part in the 24th annual
mid-winter N'Shei Chabad Con-
ference Jan. 31-Feb. 2 in Mil-
waukee.
Dzodin will conduct a lecture
and workshop on "The Mask of
Queen Esther: A Reality of
Truth, a Truth of Reality." Sil-
berberg will speak on "Setting
Our Sights as Jewish Women
Today."

SUMMER 1986 IN ISRAEL AWARDS

The Meyer and Nathan Fishman Family Foundation announces five
$1,300 awards to outstanding High School students from the 10th-12th
grades in the Tri-County area of Greater Detroit who will spend the
summer of 1986 in Israel. Applicants must be enrolled in Jewish High
School. They will be Judged by academic achievement, leadership and
community service. Financial need will also be considered.
