The afternoon, sponsored by
t he Ann Arbor Jewish Cultural
s ociety, will feature Robert Op-
p enheimer, Yiddish story-teller.
I n addition to his work with
c hildren and in the Jewish
c ommunity, Oppenheimer
h osted the Yiddish story hour
f or children on Detroit radio.
Simcha, an An• Arbor group,
will provide singing for and
with children. The group spe-
c ializes in Jewishmusic, but
spices its performances with
many American children's favo-
rites.
The Jewish Cultural Society,
the sponsoring organization,
holds monthly Ongei Shabbat
and adult education programs
and sponsors both a film club
and a book club in addition to
hosting holiday celebrations.
The cultural society is also the
parent organization for the
Jewish Cultural School.
