William Crowe, chairman of the
U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, spent
last weekend in - Israel as the
guest of IDF Chief of ,Staff Lt.
Gen. Moshe Levy.
Crowe met with Defense
Minister Yitzhak Rabin and
heads of the IDF staff and
ministry officials.
,Crowe, who took up his post
three months ago, went to Israel
from Jordan, after having vis-
ited Belgium last week. He vis-
ited Egypt and Italy before re-
turning to the U.S.
