Detroit recently celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary at a
champagne dinner at Dimitri's.
Guests included their im-
mediate family, daughter Bar-
bara Selik and son-in-law Joey
Selik, son Larry Edelheit and
wife Audrey, brother Philip and
his family, twin sister Sylvia
Feldman, nieces and nephews,
and five grandchildren.
The Edelheits were married
Jan. 5, 1936, in Detroit. A Las
Vegas vacation is planned.

Judge Barry M. Grant, Oak-
land County probate judge, has
been elected Probate Court
representative to serve on the
Michigan Judicial Tenure
Commission. He was elected by
the Probate Judges throughout
the state of Michigan.
Judge Grant is the vice
president of the Michigan Pro-
bate Judges Association and is
on the executive committee of
the Judicial Council of the State
Bar.
A graduate of Wayne State
University Law School, Judge
Grant was appointed to the
Oakland County Court in 1977.
In addition, he serves on the
board of directors of William
Beaumont Hospital, Oakland
County YMCA, Oakland County
Boy Scouts, Camp Oakland,
Oakland County Youth Advi-
sory Committee, and the Ad Hoc
Judicial Retirement Committee.
He also is a member of the
National College of Probate
Judges and is listed in Who's
