The Bais Yaakov Choir and
Dance Group of the Sally Allan
Alexander Beth Jacob School for
Girls will present an "Erev
Shirah," an evening of song and
dance at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at
the main United Hebrew
Schools auditorium.
About 40 young women who
attend the school's middle and
high school divisions will
entertain.
The choir leader, Gila Roberg,
assisted by Gittie Silverstein,
and the dance choreographer
Elana Gelberman, are students
in the Bais Yaakov who have
for the past few years, been part
of the groups that they now
lead.
The group performs for
women at school and charitable
functions.

Mile, Southfield. Admission in-
cludes a light supper and
snacks. Tickets are on sale now
and will be available at the
door.
The proceeds from the auction
will go to support and maintain
the synagogue's youth activities.
In addition, the proceeds will
enable the synagogue to con-
tinue its educational and cul-
tural events.
