The sisterhood and men's club
of Cong. Beth Abraham Hillel
Mous- have designated Satur-
day, Parshat Bo, as the congre-
gation's first annual Judaica
Shabbat.
The day will be dedicated by
both the synagogue's religious
school Judaica students (post
bar/bat mitzvah) and their par-
ents to synagogue, to a Shabbat
meal, and to a Jewish topic, an-
nounced Florence Schon and
Ronald Anstandig, presidents
respectively of the sisterhood
and men's club.
The members of the Judaica
classes will conduct much of the
service: Participating students
are: Marc Blackman, Paul Co-
hen, Daniel Douville, Michael
Flam, Amy Frenkel, Beth Fren-
kel, Chuck Gaba, Hindy
Hoffman, Mary 'Koukhab,,Marci
Light, Shaheen Moghadam,
Michelle Newman, ,Cindy Raick,
Kevin Ressnick, Gerami
Seitzman and Robyn Storthan.
In addition to the service,
there will be a luncheon for both
parents and students, followed
by a program.
Pam Lippitt, the Michigan
Region executive director of
United Synagogue of America,
will speak to the students on the
topic of inter-dating, which will
also include a question/answer
period.
Concurrent with the students'
program, Rabbi A. Irving
Schnipper and Barry Levine will
hold a separate discussion with
the parents on the same topic.
Maida Anstandig and Les
Goldstein are the religious
school's Judaica teachers.
Levine is director of the Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses Religious
School.
