`Jews Of Moscow'
Program Aired
"The Jews of Moscow: An In-
side Story Special Edition" will
be aired at 10 p.m. Jan. 14 on
Channel 56. The program will
be repeated at 3 a.m. Jan. 15.
The program includes inter-
,views with refuseniks and a dis-
cussion on the Geneva summit
and its implications for Soviet
Jews.
Audience Expands
For TV Program
Jewish Television Magazine
has been added to the program
schedule of yet another cable
station — and will reach hun-
dreds more viewers in Birmin-
gham,. Bloomfield Hills, Rloom-
field Township and Franklin
Village. The popular half-hour
show has been placed on Booth
Communications' public access
Channel 11, every Monday at
4:30 p.m. and Wednesday at
7:30 p.m.
To reach an even wider audi-
ence in Oak Park, Lathrup vil-
lage, Southfield and West
Bloomfield, Continental Cab-
levision has switched JTV to a
new channel. Subscribers can
now see the prbgram every
other Tuesday at 8 pan. on
Channel 11. The next showing
on Continental will be Tuesday.

Meet For Bonds
The opening event of the
Metro Detroit Israel Bonds New
Leadership Division for 1986
will be a "preview" cocktail
party, to be held at the Birmin-
gham home of Mr. and Mrs.
David B. Hermelin at 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 21, it was announced by
Donald Wagner and Lawrence
Wolfe, New Leadership co-
chairmen.
The division was organized to
promote a better awareness ,and
a clearer understanding of the
State of Israel and its need for
financial support through the
sale of Israel Bonds. Members
learn how they can be of service
to the people of Isriel while at
the same time develop an
awareness of their own Jewish
identity.
Local • divisions of New Lead-
ership promote economic support
for Israel through educational
and social events. The national
organization sponsors , confer-
ences and summer-time delega-
tions to Israel, and promotes the
new $250 Certificate, as well as
other Israel bond instruments.
The preview party will feature
a brief educational presentation
of current video film shorts de-
picting the role of Israel bonds
funds in Israel's economic up-
building, and a preview. of plan-
ned New Leadership activities
for the coming year. There will
be no solicitation of Israel

Group Will Gather
The Scolibsis Association of
Michigan will hold its nlonthly
support group meeting on Jan.
16 at 7:30 p.m in the Proviaence
Medical Building, 22250 Provi-
dence Dr., Southfield, 8th Floor
