With a grant from the Michi-
gan Department of Labor, Office
of Women and Work, the Jewish
Vocational Service. and Com-
munity Workshop (JVS-CW), a
non-sectarian agency, has em-
barked on the fifth year of a
displaced homemaker _ program
for individuals from Wayne and
Oakland counties.
,Displaced homemakers are
wiihien who, through divorce,
•separation, widowhood or disa-
bility of spouse, have lost their
source of economic support.
This special on-going program
offers yocational assessment, vo-
cational counseling, job seeking
skills and job placement assis-
tance. Women who need to be-
come financially self-sufficient,
who need help in entering the
job 'market after many years in
the home, are invited to apply to
Jewish Vocational Service.
Eligibility is based on marital
and employment status. There
are no income guidelines. In-
terested applicants should call

will take place at the JVS,
