New York (JTA) — Leading
Jewish organizations have urged
governments around the world to
take decisive action against ter-
rorists and called for punishment of
nations which provide refuge to ter-
rorists, in the wake Of last Friday's
terrorist attacks at the El Al coun-
ters in the Rome and Vienna air-
ports.
At a pres; conference Sunday,
Kenneth Bialkin, chairman of the
Conference of Presidents of Major
American Jewish. OrganizationB, is-
sued a hard-hitting statement saying
that the Palestinian terrorist war

The Allied Jewish Campaign's
eight divisions are gearing up for
the community's Super. Sunday tele-
phone appeal on February 2.
Edie Mittenthal, chairman of
worker recruitment and training, is
asking CaMpaign workers and other
interested members of the commun-
ity to take a turn at the phones. "It's
a great Opportunity to get involved,"
she said. "The feeling \\of satisfaetion
in reaching out to the Community
and helping our partners one of
the rewards of the day.' .
