When a Jewish Welfare Feder-
ation Women's Division volunteer
calls during Phonogift next week,
Detroit area women will be asked
to make their 1986 Campaign

pledges and renew their commit-
ment to the Jewish people.

Phonogift, the Women's Divi-
sion annual pledge drive that

helps mobilize the community-
wide phase of the Allied Jewish

Campaign, takes place Jan. 5, 6, 7
and 12 from the United Hebrew
Schools in Southfield. More than
300 division volunteers will be on
hand to call 5,000 local women.
In addition to the regular pre-
_ telethon briefing, representatives
from Federation's member agen-
cies will be on hand to talk with
workers about local needs.
Judith Naftaly is Phonogift
chairman, Linda Garfield is as-
sociate chairman. Day directors
are Rosa Chessler, Evelyn Levine,
Jeanette Solway and Reve Talon.
Kim Dickstein and Lois Falk are
clerical chairmen; Geri Lester
and Cheryl Guyer are general
briefing chairmen; Sharon Hart is
Women's Division Campaign
chairman; and Doreen Hermelin
is associate Campaign chairman.
Marlene Borman is division pres-
ident.

fense Force military bases, ab-
sorption centers, high tech in-
dustrial sites and visits to ZOA's
educational complex at Kfar
Silver and the ZOA House.
The ZOA tour department will
work with Israel's Ministry of
Tourism to develop the
itineraries.
