entitled, "Jewish and Female."
Some of the films to be viewed
this month are: Jane Eyre, Golda
Meir, The Diary of Anne Frank,
The Fortune Seeker, Henrietta
Szold, and To Be A Soldier.
My Life by Golda Meir and
Herman Had Two Daughters by
Zelda Popkin, will be reviewed by
Frances Weinberg.
Jocelyn Krieger will present a
special lecture entitled, "Jewish
Women — Liberated or Oppressed
— A Convert's Perspective."
Art work, done by Harriet
Gelfond and her female students,
will be displayed. Only female
performers will appear at the
Shaina Shabbos program.

Israeli Comedy
Troup To Appeal

The Israeli Community of De-
troit, in co-operation with the cul-
tural arts department of the
Jewish Community Center, will
present the Israeli comedy group,
Hagashash Hachiver, on March
20 at 8 p.m. at the Center.

Israeli Community of Detroit,

The comedy group, well-known
by Israeli audiences, will perform
entirely in Hebrew.

Center To Host
Family Day

Games and relay races for the
whole family will be part of a
"Wacky Maccabia" at the main
Jewish Community Center at 2
p.m. Jan. 12.
Refreshments will follow the
games. Persons who wish to swim
should bring bathing suits and
towels. Lockers and locks will be
provided. Swimming will open at
3:30 p.m.
There is a nominal charge per
family. Pre-registration is re-
quired by Jan. 7. Tickets also will
be available at the Center's front
desk.

Jabotinsky Group
Plans Celebration

The Jabotinsky Society of
Herut Zionists of America will
have a New Year's Eve dance and
party at 9 p.m. Tuesday at Cong.
Beth Shalom.
Eric Rosenow and his Conti-
nentals will provide music for
dancing. Dinner and wine will be
served.
Friends are invited. There is a
