Feinberg's Tenderfoot badge. La-
ter, both Feinberg and Fred But-
zel played active roles in the De-
troit Scout organization. Butzel
for many years was treasurer.
On the whole, my years have
been very, very full," Feinberg
says. "I have my wife, our three
children. I don't complain. So
there have been some injustices.
So what? There's an awful lot of
injustice in the world.
"I've been very lucky for a little
Canadian boy coming over here,
not knowing anybody. Making
friends. Making a way in the
world. Making a dollar. Making a
contribution to the community
I've lived in over 60 years. I think
that's the important thing."
On the way out the door, his
visitor thanks him for a gift — a
pamphlet printed about Whit-
man's work by Traubel.
"Don't thank me," says Fein-
berg.
"Why not?"
"I'm just a shammos," he says.

Land Fraud
Probe Continues

Tel Aviv (JTA) — Michael De-
kel, Deputy Minister Defense,
was again questioed by police last
week in connection with West
Bank land sales frauds which oc-
curred when he was Deputy
Minister of Agriculture. Two of
his former aides have been ar-
rested and one of them Avi Tzur,
was arraigned this week on seven
counts of bribery, two counts of
suborning witnesses and one
count of breach of trust.
Tzur allegedly used official Ag-
riculture Ministry stationery to
produce forged documents which
enabled West Bank land develop-
ers to defraud purchasers of land.
Dekel was questioned about his
knowledge of this and about other
matters during his tenure at the
Agriculture Ministry.
The interrogation was con-
ducted by senior officers of the
serious crimes unit behind closed
doors at the police training
academy in Tel Aviv. Dekel's at-
torneys were not permitted to be
present during the questioning.

Body Found

Jerusalem (JTA) — The badly
decomposed body of an Arab jour-
nalist who had been missing since
Oct. 3 was found near the
Ramallah-Latrun highway over
the weekend. The remains were
identified as those of Hassan
Abdul Halim Fakih, 37, a reporter
for the East Jerusalem Arabic
newspaper Al Fajr.
Police believe he was murdered.
The Itim news agency reported
however that security forces
think Fakih was killed while try-
ing to assemble a bomb for ter-
rorist purposes or while practic-
ing throwing grenades. Grenade
fragments were found near the
corpse which was spotted by two
shepherds who summoned police.
