Conference
Michigan Region, B'nai B'rith
Youth Organization, will have
its annual regional convention
Sunday through Thursday at
the main Jewish Community
Center.
A total of 34 chapters from
which 500 delegates will par-
ticipate, will be involved. Theme
of this year's convention is "Put-
tin' on the Ritz."
Sunday's schedule includes
registration, contests, opening
ceremony and orientation,
storytelling and the ISF carni-
val.
On Tuesday, Ritz Day, there
will be sports, contests, BBYO
Theater presentation, a fashion
show and talent show.
College Day will be observed
Tuesday. Activities include
sports, contests, a theater pre-
sentation, oratory and bowling.
On Wednesday, Clash Day,
there will be contests, AZA and
BBG Council meetings, sports
and a formal dance.
The conclusion on Thursday,
Button Day, will include sports
finals and an evaluation and
awards ceremony.
