, grandchild.
BETTY W. DAVIDSON, 78,
died Dec. 5. She leaves nieces,
nephews, grandnieces and
grandnephews.
ANNA L. ELLIS, 76, died Dec.
9. She leaves a son, Allan; a
daughter, Mrs. Les- (Barbara)
Denton; two brothers, Nate
Robbins of California and Ber-
nard Robbins; and one grandson.
FRED A. EPPS died Dec. 9. He
leaves his wife, Betty; two sons,
Michael and David; three sis-
ters, Nell Schaflander of Santa
Monica, Calif., Sara Epstein and
Dorothy Epstein; and six grand-
children.
DAVID FAYTELEWICZ, 68,
of Detroit, died Dec. 8. Survived
by his wife, Helene; and a sister,
Mrs. Itta Widelken of Israel.
LOUIS FRIEDMAN, 81, of
Southfield, died Dec. 10. Sur-
vived by his wife, Fannie; two
sons, Jack and Morton; a sister,
Mrs. Sam (Becky) Weinman; six
grandchildren and one great-
grandson.
ESTELLE GOLDSMITH, 65,
of Oak Park, died Nov. 30. Sur-
vived by two sisters, Dorothy
Feinberg and Mrs. Irving (Ger-
trude) Pinkney; and three
nephews.
BELLE KAYNE, 65, of South-
field, died Dec. 10. Survived by
a son, Michael; a daughter, Mrs.
Louis (Deborah) Aaron; a
brother, Ben Alderman; and two
grandchildren.
SARAH KLEIN, 88, of Far-
mington Hills, died Dec. 10.
Survived by a son, Harry; a
daughter, Mrs. Eli (Ethelene)
Friedman; five grandchildren
and six great grandchildren.
JACOB KRITZ, 92, died Dec.
5. He leaves a son, Sam (Kritz)
Reiner; and a sister, Ida of
Miami, Fla.
BETTY PORTNOY, 78, died
Dec. 9. She leaves a son, D.
Gary; and a daughter, Lynn.
ARNOLD SHARKEY, 72, of
Southfield, died Dec. 7. Survived
by a daughter, Arna; and two
brothers, Raymond and Leonard
of West Palm Beach, Fla.
EDITH WEINSCHIENK, 85,
of Farmington Hills, died Dec. 8.
Survived by a step-son, Sher-
man of Kansas City, Mo.; a
step-daughter, Margaret Bens-
tein of Pittsburgh, Calif.; a sis-
ter, Yetta Feldman; nieces and
nephews..
RUTH FRANK WINER, 73,
died Dec. 6. She leaves two sons,
Dr. Stephen of Lebanon, Pa.,
and Dr. Robert David of Japan;
two brothers, Dr. Morris J.
Frank of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.,
and Benny Frank of Walterboro,
S.C.; and one grandson.
Fanny Yagoda
Fanny Yagoda, a teacher in
the Detroit Public Schools, died
Dec. 10 at age 77.
Born in Austria, Mrs. Yagoda
taught reading and writing in
the Detroit schools and English
to immigrants at the Jewish
Community Center. Mrs.
Yagoda was a past president of
the Brandeis Chapter of Pioneer
Women and a member of Adat
Shalom Synagogue for 25 years.
With her late husband,
Samuel, she operated Sam's
Drugs on Fenkell.
She is survived by two sons,
Marvin J. and Bernard; a
daughter, Mrs. Martin (Dorothy)
Silverman of Huntington Beach,
Calif.; a brother, Sam Garfinkel
of Van Nuys, Calif.; a sister,
Mrs. Jack (Rose) Galinsky; and
three grandchildren.
Sally Greenwald
Sally Greenwald, a member of
Israel Chapter of B'nai B'rith
and the American Cancer
Society, died Nov. 25.
A former Detroiter, Mrs.
Greenwald moved to Spring Val-
ley, Calif., one year ago.
She is survived by her chil-
dren, Michael and Susan
Lichtenberg of Spring Valley;
two sisters, Lillian Bain and Be-
ttie Gutman, both of Southfield;
one grandson and nieces and
nephews. Interment San Diego,
Calif.
Sidney A. Deitch
MARCIA G. LAST, 50, died
Dec. 4. She leaves her husband,
Morris; a daughter, Mrs. Tom
(Laura) Stratford; and her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. David
(Pauline) Kleiman.
HERMAN MARX, 72, died
Dec. 7. He leaves his wife, Belle;
a brother, Al of Florida; a sister,
Betty Rubenstein of Dallas,
Tex.; nieces, nephews; grand-
nieces and grandnephews.
