Reception Held
For Yeshivah

A reception on behalf of the
Yeshivah and Mesivta Torah
Vadaath will be held at 8 p.m.
Dec. 17 in the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Arnold Carmen, 15927 Hil-
ton, Southfield. Marvin Berlin is
the chairman.
Guest speaker will be Rabbi
Nesanel Quinn, rnenahel of the
yeshivah. He has been the prin-
cipal of Mesivta Torah Vadaath
for the past 40 years.
Yeshivah Torah Vodaath is
one of the oldest Torah institu-
tions in the U.S. It draws stu-
dents from South America,
Europe, South Africa, Iran and
from throughout the U.S.
Today, the student enrollment
numbers about 2,000. Many of
the faculty members of Detroit's
Beth Yehudah Schools are
graduates of the yeshivah.
Accompanying Rabbi Quinn
will be Rabbi Pinchos Briskman.
Co-chairmen of the evening
are: Rabbi Leib Bakst, Max
Carmen, Rabbi Reuven Drucker,
Rabbi Edward Feigelman, Rabbi
Elimelech Goldberg, Rabbi Leo
Goldman, Rabbi Chaskel
Grubner, Rabbi Solomon Grus-
kin, Rabbi Norman Kahn, Rabbi
Leizer Levin, Rabbi Dov
Loketch, Rabbi Joseph Nus-
baum, Rabbi Samuel Prero,
Rabbi Joel Sperka, Rabbi Mor-
ton Yolkut and Rabbi Shaiall
Zachariash.

Family Shabbat
Service Planned

Cong. Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses will have a family Shab-
bat service at 8 p.m. today to
honor its new members.
The congregation's new mem-
bers and their families will par-
ticipate in the service which will
be followed by an Oneg Shabbat.
Rabbi A. Irving Schnipper will
officiate and Cantor Ben-Zion
Lanxner will chant the liturgy.
The children's choir, "The
Tzabarim," will also participate
in the service under the direc-
tion of Cantor Lanxner.
Everyone is invited.
